  • The win was India's 4th ODI Series Victory in succession following the triangular victory in the West Indies, the ICC Champions Trophy title in England before that and a bilateral win over England at home in January 2013 


  • India have taken a 3-0 lead over Zimbabwe in a bilateral series - their first such instance in Zimbabwe

  • Zimbabwe have lost their 100th game out of 150 played at home (Won 45, Tied 2 & NR 3). The tally includes 11 defeats out of 15 to India

  • Amit Mishra's figures of four for 47 are his second best in ODIs - his only previous four-wicket haul is four for 31 vs West Indies at Port of Spain on June 8, 2011
