It will be 134th edition of the US Open,the fourth and final Grand Slam event of the year.
It will take place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center
Defending Champions
Rafael Nadal(Spain)was the defending champion in the men's event, however on 18 August the Spaniard announced his withdrawal from the event after failing to recover from a wrist injury, while Serena Williams(USA) is the two-time defending champion in the women's event.
