West Indies won the toss and chose to field

West Indies will be without birthday boy Chris Gayle as they attempt to level the one-day series at Trent Bridge. They will be chasing after Jason Holder won the toss and decided to bowl on a grey day in Nottingham with the threat of rain lurking.
Gayle tweaked his right hamstring in the warm-ups and was scrubbed from the team sheet moments before the toss with Kyle Hope taking his place.

Second ODI @ Trent Bridge,Nottingham - Match Abadoned Due To Rain





England's second one-day international with West Indies was abandoned after only 2.2 overs at Trent Bridge.

Having lost the toss, the home side were 21-0 when they were forced off the field, with Jonny Bairstow on nine and Alex Hales 10.
Well, the rain has had the final say. The much dreaded thing has finally happened. Seemed just a matter of time before the officials called it off. MATCH ABANDONED DUE TO RAIN
England lead 1-0 in the five-match series, having won the first game at Old Trafford by seven wickets.
The third ODI will be held at Bristol on Sunday Sep 24,2017
