2018 Uttar Pradesh Investors Summit in Lucknow Feb 21-22,2018


This will probably be for the first time that all big names of the business fraternity will be coming down to Lucknow for such an event. Guests at the event include names like Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani, Birla Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla, Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani, Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra and Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekharan to name a few.

Also, adding to the high profile guest list at the UP Investors' Summit will be Sudhir Mehta of Torrent Group, Pankaj Patel President of Cadila Health Care, Executive Director of Arvind Mills Kulin Lalbhai, JSW Group Chairman Sajjan Jindal, Chairman of Essel Group Subhash Chandra and GMR Group President GM Rao.

The UP Investors' Summit will be inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi on Wednesday Feb 21,2018 and will conclude on Thursday Feb 22,2018 with attendance from President Ram Nath Kovind.​

Addressing the two-day UP Investors Summit in Lucknow, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that “holding investor summit in UP and congregation of industrialists from all over is sign of big change.” (PTI) Modi also added that “potential, policy, planning and performance leads to progress.”Modi also said that “Uttar Pradesh has values and virtues, but it also needs value addition.”

Uttar Pradesh signs MoUs worth Rs4.28 trillion on Day 1

Uttar Pradesh has signed 1,045 pacts worth Rs4.28 trillion on the first day of the UP investors’ summit, CM Yogi Adityanath said on Wednesday. “It is a matter of pride for the state that fortune-500 companies are participating in this summit. I want to tell you all that till now we have signed 1,045 MoUs worth Rs4.28 lakh crore. I have recently presented budget of Rs4.28 lakh crore and the figure of MOUs signed is the same... We are heading towards new UP,” Adityanath said while addressing the summit in Lucknow. He said he would himself oversee that the MoUs signed are executed, and those who are coming to invest in the state get all the facilities.

“I welcome all the guests including industrialists. With PM’s guidance and blessings, UP is heading towards development and shedding its bimaru tag. We are trying to become developed. PM’s guidance helps us in good governance and taking the state on path of development,” he said
