Remembering Vinaod Khanna (Oct 06,1946 - April 27,2017)on his death Anniversary April 27,2018

Vinod Khanna, who entered the Hindi film industry in its most influential era of the 70s, left a void in Bollywood last year on April 27.

His demise at the age of 70 in 2017 left his fans, friends, family and co-actors heartbroken

Vinod Khanna blessed with good looks was the one who made cine lovers fall in love even with an anti-hero, such was the charisma of this stalwart whenever he appeared on the 70mm screen. But soon the actor graduated from being just an antagonist to a hero.

 In a career spanning over four decades, Khanna was primarily known for his work in Hindi films during the 1970s. Amar Akbar Anthony, Mere Apne, Hera Pheri, Muqaddar Ka Sikander and Qurbani are just some of the popular films that he has appeared in. After taking a short break from the movies in the 1980s, Khanna returned and gained acclaim for his performances in films like Chandni and Dayavan

Vinod Khanna was posthumously honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award at the 65th National Film Awards on April 13,2018
Vinod Khanna is the 49th recipient of the Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
